Happy Pioneer Day! July 25, 2011

Filed under: Brasil — companion of honor @ 9:45 PM
Hey there!
Happy Pioneer Day!! No it’s not as big of a deal as it is in Utah but it did get mentioned in church a couple times. I thought of you mom and how I always was able to call you and wish you a happy pioneer day.
This week has been a good one. Fernanda is all set to go for her baptism this weekend. The more I get to know her the more I am amazed at her story. She is seriously the definition of a golden investigator.

We were also able to mark a date with a guy named Daniel. He’s been coming the last couple of weeks with his girlfriend and in gospel principles yesterday he introduced himself as wanting to be a member but for the time being he’s here visiting his friend. Another jaw dropping moment with Sister Silva and I, we definitely made a point to talk to him afterwards. He’s been going to institute for 2 months, is reading the Book of Mormon and wants to be baptized!
We seriously have done nothing for Fernanda and Daniel, they just came to us ready to go. That’s a lot easier than knocking doors for sure!
Time sure is ticking away this transfer. Only a couple more weeks :(   Who knows, we’ll get lucky again and get a third transfer together?!
Have an amazing cruise! I love you!!!
